Disable the Plan:
Lock in accountability either with you or someone in their immediate vicinity of relationships
Sort out some support, professional or Christian, preferably both where appropriate
Help them make an appointment
Take them to the appointment
Help them fill out medical prescriptions where necessary
Stay involved where able
Ask them to commit to no harm – either hourly, daily or weekly
Check on their safety
Give them crisis care phone numbers & addresses
Use inclusive language i.e. us, we, together
If you cannot get to them - call 000
If they have a lethal weapon - such as a gun - call 000
If they have pills, rope, etc ... - remove them
